i just saw this movie with wendi. it's on netflix instant watch.
it was seriously so hard to watch, yet you can't help but watch. COMPELLING, is the word. i was actually nervous, between the "shocking" scenes, anticipating what sort of craziness they would show next. i feel sorry for those kids, and angry at the parents.
on the other hand, it's called a documentary, and it could be considered one, but it's way too one-sided, despite its distributor's claims that it "doesn't come with any prepackaged point of view" and that it tries to be "an honest and impartial depiction of one faction of the evangelical Christian community”. the editing clearly shows otherwise. also see the wiki.
it's always stuff like this that gives people the wrong idea about the majority of christians, i.e., the moderate ones.
