i kept getting "could not connect to server" error messages from my United Devices Agent. finally, i went to the website to see what was going on. right on the front page was a link to uninstall the agent. i wondered what was happening. then i read the news:

"On Friday, April 27, 2007, Grid.org announced it has completed its mission to demonstrate the viability and benefits of large-scale Internet-based grid computing, and will be retiring its famous efforts to support critical health research."

that was awesome and sad at the same time. no more grid.org agent. i had the thing running for almost 2 and a half years.
