i just heard gary jules live on fm 94.9. he sang a song called "umbilical town", which is about san diego. it was pretty good so i searched for it.. and found out that he's the guy who sings (or i guess covers) "mad world".. AND i found a video of him doing "umbilical town" live on fm 94.9! but it's from like 2 years ago, and there's another guy playing guitar with him. i think i like the one i heard today better.. but here's the video from 2 years ago anyway:
