this isn't about third strike.
anyway, have you heard of the superstition of bad things happening in 3s? like, if 2 bad things happen to you within a "short" period of time, then a third bad thing is bound to happen soon, so CHECK YOSELF. maybe it's just an asian superstition.
i'm wondering, why not change that superstition to "GOOD things happen in 3s"? it's just as arbitrary, but instead, you'd be looking for good stuff to happen. (cuz that's what the superstition boils down to.. you're looking for that stuff to happen when you otherwise wouldn't.)
